Judapest - The Third Generation (demo 6 min)

The film deals with the third Jewish generation after the Holocaust. It is about those young Jews who shape and determine the "Jewish Budapest" in our days, if something like this exists at all. These young persons, aged between 18 and 30, perceive their Judaism totally differently compared with that of their parents and grandparents. They are fed up with the martyrdom of their ancestors; they refuse the image of Jew as a passive victim or a target of the anti-Semitic hate.
How their families and the majority Christian society accept this behaviour? How strong is the solidarity among the young Jews? Do they mix with their non-Jewish peers? And what are the non-Jews thinking about them?
